About the Role:

This broad but important position plays a crucial role in providing best practice Recruitment and HR services to all Colorspan employees. As the Talent & People Advisor, you will be responsible for applying your HR experience to offer comprehensive support, guidance, and advice to management. Along with this, you will also be responsible for end-to-end blue-collar recruitment for the organisation.

Part time will be considered for the right candidate 3-4 days a week).

Working within the Finance and Human Resource Department, you’ll collaborate closely with managers and leaders to ensure they are supported across all HR facets while upholding strict confidentiality of all employee information.

You will also be required to maintain continuous development of HR knowledge and skills, staying abreast of industry updates, compliance changes and publications. Participation in training workshops and educational programs is also encouraged to foster professional growth.

Duties include:

  • End-to-end recruitment of blue-collar recruitment including employment contract execution, and onboarding
  • Managing time and attendance software for payroll purposes
  • Employee development and performance management
  • OHS policy and procedure development, including injury management and RTW programs, while ensuring legislative compliance
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks and support as required

Skills and Experience required:

  • HR qualification and demonstrated experience in a HR advisory role
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, award interpretation and industry standards, including OHS, payroll and performance management
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment processes across blue-collar roles, and the ability to develop strategies to attract top talent
  • Experience in using HRIS such as Employment Hero
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with managers, leaders, employees, and external candidates
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
