Workforce Analytics has been partnering with businesses to solve complex workforce challenges since 2012. We use cutting-edge mathematics, AI, and machine learning to uncover insights that really affect business performance, whether this is through Roster Optimisation, Payroll Compliance, Cost Modelling, or Predictive Analytics.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who is confident, initiative-driven, and a strong communicator. This role is vital to the growth of the business and will have input into sales, marketing and account management.

To be successful in this role, you will be engaging directly with potential customers and collaborating with partner organisations who wish to leverage our unique technology for their customers. It is essential that you have the energy, passion and mental agility to get out there and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

The Opportunity  

Reporting into the CEO, this role will give you exposure to a range of clients, from Fast-Food, Retail, and FMCG Groups through to the Disability Sector and Aged Care.

You will also be creating and managing new partnership opportunities with related organisations such as Lawyers, Accountants, Consultants and technology providers.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and contact local and national opportunities within relevant industries, and build on existing and new client relationships
  • Connect and engage with partner organisations, building ongoing relationships and mutual confidence
  • Deliver compelling presentations and client needs analysis in partnership with business leaders to build a strong understanding of business objectives and requirements for all new clients 
  • Manage opportunities using a structured sales process
  • Accurately report and forecast future sales revenue
  • Analyse and report or advise on trends, opportunities and challenges related to business growth
  • Consult around new opportunities for marketing or events
  • Manage requests for quotes/presentations

 Ideal skills and experience you’ll offer: 

  • Experience of a similar sales/BDM/partnership role
  • Fast learner, quick thinker, and highly driven individual with an execution focus and strong sense of urgency
  • Experience of presenting to and negotiating with senior decision makers
  • Confident communicator, written and verbal
  • Experience in enterprise sales with a track record of creating opportunities
  • Experience in lead generation via cold calling, emails, and marketing campaigns  
  • Impact and influence in cold calling and presenting style  
  • Excellent leading questioning skills and business enquiry knowledge 
  • Ability to follow sales processes and always think two steps ahead
